 bit different than our usual format. This is a tell-all event about the Am
 erican Civil War (the first one!)\, with particular emphasis on Lincoln. I
  feel compelled to post this in light of recent events. There will be many
  materials on offer to consult.\n\nBy the way\, I am an unapologetic union
 ist. William Tecumseh Sherman did nothing wrong! There are too many civil 
 war buffs who are sympathizers with traitors.\n\nThis is more history than
  philosophy. Nevertheless\, philosophy will bubble around the edges if you
  pay attention. If you want a "conventional" renegade event\, you can just
  show up at about 7:30 (consult some of the material before hand) We might
  have a more conventional renegade follow up once my thoughts are more wel
