  outing\, and everyone is expected to order food and/or drinks roughly equ
 ivalent to a small meal\, with 18% automatic gratuity added for groups of 
 6+.\n\nShort summary\nSettlers of Catan is a game about building roads\, c
 ollecting sheep\, negotiating politely\, and then immediately refusing to 
 trade with the person who helped you ten minutes ago.\nThis is a Friday ni
 ght built around Catan: resource gathering\, suspicious bargains\, unlucky
  dice rolls\, blocked roads\, quiet grudges\, and the ancient human questi
 on of whether anyone truly has wood for sheep.\nNo general board-game nigh
 t this time. No giant menu of games. No chaos disguised as variety.\nJust 
 Catan\, pizza\, drinks\, and the slow realization that “friendly strategy 
 game” still leaves plenty of room for betrayal.\n\nThe plan\nWe’ll meet at
  7:00 PM\, settle in with food and drinks\, and play Settlers of Catan as 
 the main game for the evening.\nThe base game works best with 3–4 players\
 , so if enough people come\, we’ll split into two tables. If Ludica has th
 e 5–6 player expansion available\, one table may be able to handle 5 or 6 
 players\, but the cleanest version is usually two smaller games.\nBeginner
 s are welcome. You do not need to be a Catan expert. We’ll explain the rul
 es\, help with the first few turns\, and then let the dice create the emot
 ional damage.\n\nThe vibe\nCasual\, social\, and beginner-friendly\, but a
  little strategic. Come if you like trading games\, light strategy\, resou
 rce management\, pizza\, or watching someone slowly realize they built the
 ir entire civilization next to numbers that never roll.\nYou do not need t
 o know the game beforehand. Just be ready to negotiate\, adapt\, and accep
