SUMMARY:Question About Questioning (Central Austin)
LOCATION:Jason's Deli
DESCRIPTION:Saved in Palaner as: saved\n\nPalaner match: 18% · why: lots of
people going\n\nWe often try to get more information/insight/understandin
g by asking questions. Especially with access to the internet\, many of th
ese questions get answered. Satisfied\, we move on to other things. Howeve
r\, a small percentage of questions leave us wanting more:\n\n1. The answe
r seems possible but not understandable\n2. The answer just leads to more
questions\, often down a rabbit hole\n3. The answer is incomplete but it’s
not clear what or who else to ask\n\nThese situations may lead us to ask
questions like the following:\n\n1. Is the question is too hard for us to
understand the answer?\n2. Does the question have no answer?\n3. Was the c
orrect question asked? How do we know?\n4. Must the question to be asked b
y the right person?\n\nIs there a person capable of answering that questio
n?\nSometimes getting an answer is not SO important and we let it go for t
he time being. Other times there is a need to get an answer. Where does th
is need come from?\n\n1. Is the consequence of not having an answer going
to have catastrophic affect on our lives?\n2. Is our ego just unsettled wi
th our inadequacies?\n3. Do we have an emotional attachment to a particula
r answer that is not forthcoming? Do emotions prevent us or help us to fin
ding the answer?\n4. Do we only seek answers to questions we approve? Do w
e have reservations for questions that we can find answers to?
