SUMMARY:Beyond The Book: Sustainability Discussions (Pt 2)
LOCATION:Good Company Bookstore
DESCRIPTION:Saved in Palaner as: saved\n\nPalaner match: 26% · why: lots of
people going\n\nThis event was created by three people exploring sustain
ability — from science and economics to sociology\, philosophy\, and even
spirituality. We would love to read\, learn\, exchange ideas\, and explore
practical actions together.\nIn other words\, this is a space for curios
ity\, not expertise.\n\n📚 This session\n\nOur second gathering will be i
nspired by Kate Raworth's Doughnut Economics but the conversation will go
far beyond it. This book presents a new economic framework that aims to me
et everyone's essential needs while respecting the ecological limits of ou
r planet.\nWe’ll begin with a short presentation summarizing some of the
book’s main themes\, and then move into an open discussion.\n\nTo support
a thoughtful and well-rounded conversation\, feel free to bring articles\
, videos\, or other materials related to the topic.\n\n💬 Who is it for?\n
\nHave you already read the book? Please join and share your thoughts.\n
Haven’t read it yet? You are still very welcome to join. If possible\, we
recommend reading at least some parts beforehand.\nNo access to the book?
Feel free to reach out to the organizers — we’ll be happy to help. Additi
onally\, physical copies of the book can be ordered via the Good Company w
 ebsite: https://goodcompanybooks.com/shop/product/doughnut-economics/55356
 375171453\n\n🌍 Our intention\n\nWe want to create an open\, inclusive\,
and reflective space for conversations about sustainability. Everyone is w
elcome\, regardless of background\, education\, or level of knowledge.
