  people going\n\nWe welcome you to our 11th year providing fun\, casual\, 
 and ALL-LEVELS beach volleyball! 🏝🏐👍🏼 We have all of the equipment needed 
 to play!\nDays: Sunday mornings and Wednesday afternoons\nTime: Times will
  vary slightly based on temperature 🥶🥵 and time of year ☀️\nPrice: $15 dro
 p in (cash or e-transfer) every event or $100 for an unlimited season drop
  in pass\nWhere🏝: Most of the season we will play at Spanish Banks East or
  West beach. Kits is a much smaller beach - Usually we try to play at Kits
 ilano a couple times a year during the less busy part of the season.
Both 
 beaches are so beautiful though with gorgeous views of the ocean 🌊 mountai
 ns 🏔 and sunsets 🌅 !\nHow to find us: When you get to the beach\, look for
  a Canadian flag 🇨🇦 on the wooden volleyball post.
How it works 📋: RSVP to
  the event. Check in with us at the event to be assigned to the correct co
 urt based on your skill-level.\nWe have these levels:
1. Beginner/Lower In
 termediate 1
2. Lower Intermediate 2
3. Intermediate
4. Upper intermediate
 
5. High-level intermediate
6. Advanced
7. Advanced 2v2

  a mixed-levels court
~For all levels except the mixed level court\, we ma
 y move players around if necessary for the proper balanced level of play a
 t each net.

 at court to go to.\nAges of players: Ages 13+ but most of our players are 
 between 20-35 yrs old.
We have a mix of previous years players and new pla
 yers!\nVery important 🙌: Keep your RSVP up-to-date. Take your name off the
  list if you aren't coming so we know how many people will be there and to
  allow people on the wait list to join! Please try to be on time\, as we c
 an’t hold courts without enough players ⏰ But feel free to arrive whenever
  you can\, if you can’t make it on time!\nOther events besides the drop-in

Weather cancellations 🌧: Check the event for updates about 1.5 hrs 
 before if weather forecast is looking rainy as we will make a comment in t
 he event if we need to cancel because of the weather so please check Meetu
 p and keep notifications on.\nIdeas of things to bring💡:
• A hat\, sunglas
 ses\, lots of water and light snacks like juicy fruit or bars
• Sand socks
  or an old pair of socks are helpful to protect your feet when the sand is
  very hot or cold
•Multiple layers of clothes to accommodate the weather c
 hanging
•A bag/backpack to keep everything from getting sandy
•Be careful 
 wearing jewelry as it easily gets lost in the sand\nQuick extras to notes👍

•Bathrooms are nearby at the concession stand. There is a water fountai
 n and outside shower 💧
•Parking is no longer free and is now paid parking

 25 it was $1.50/hr\n-as of May 12\, 2026:\n-east beach is:\n$1.65 for 1 ho
 ur\n$3.15 for 2 hours\n$4.65 for 3 hours\n-west beach is:\n$4.70 for 1 hou
 r\n$8.95 for 2 hours\n$13.20 for 3 hours\n$16.20 for all day till 10pm\n\n
 •Please don’t leave any garbage on the beach! Let’s keep the beach clean! 
 You can put bottles and cans beside the garbage bin for someone to pick th
 em up to recycle\nAlso help setting up or taking down the nets etc is much
  appreciated! 🙏🏼\nSee you on the beach! 🏖

We are
  a “not-for profit-organization” We expect everyone to be careful on and a
 round the volleyball courts and watch out for fellow players. We are watch
 ing the courts for safety as much as possible. We also organize courts by 
 similar level so that the courts are as safe as possible. Having said that
 \, the Organizers\, The City of Vancouver\, The Vancouver Board of Parks a
 nd Recreation\, and any/all assistant organizers and other attendees are i
 n no way responsible and liable for your personal safety and health state\
 , before\, during and at anytime after this event. By RSVPing "Attend" or
