  English guy talk about happiness (we like our misery!). But these are not
  my words - this is what the Buddha actually said about happiness - the di
 fferent kinds\, and the supermundane happiness that only a practiced medit
 ator can experience. It's probably not what you expect - and yet\, surely 
 the purpose behind all our actions is happiness??? Or is it\, as Aristotle
  thought\, to have a life 'well lived'?\n\nSpeaker:\nVenerable Pandit has 
 been an ordained Buddhist monk in Thailand since 1996. He has a degree in 
 Psychology and a MA in Buddhist Studies. His focus is on early Buddhist te
 achings\, enlightenment traditions\, story and fairy tales\, and psycholog
 y - all from the perspective of a real meditation practice. Expect clear a
 nd precise delivery\, and a little humour!\n\n\n\nInviting:\nEveryone is w
 elcome\, from beginners to experienced meditators. We meet to support and 
 encourage each other in our practice. If you are a beginner\, some instruc
 tions will be given\; experienced meditators can develop their own practic
 e.\n\n\n\nVenue:\nBaan Aree is a Thai Buddhist Center\, please wear someth
 ing that is comfortable and modest. It is very close to Ari BTS Station.\n
 \nEnter through the passage between EXIM building and the gas station. Or 
 enter from the soi behind. (Baan Aree is also the home of Kid Mai Death Aw
 areness Cafe - so you can also follow directions for that on G Maps)\n\nAs
  is usual with Buddhist teachings\, there is no charge for this event. How
 ever\, the Little Bangkok Sangha follows the Buddhist custom of Dana (gene
 rosity). The teachings and the venue are offered as an act of generosity\,
  and those receiving them can\, if they wish\, support with a donation. Th
 ese go towards the teacher’s and venue's costs. Boxes for Dana will be pro
