 ose put forward by members and our first to be filmed in black and white.\
 n\nDirected by Irving Rapper\, Now Voyager is a Betty Davis classic that w
 as released at the height of WWII. It's under film preservation by the US 
 Library of Congress for being "culturally\, historically\, or aestheticall
 y significant” and ranks number 23 on the AFI’s list of the top 100 love s
 tories in American cinema.\n\nA synopsis and trailer can be found here.\n\
 nHow to Watch\n\nThe movie can be rented for $4.99 on Apple TV and Prime V
 ideo. If you’re unable to rent the movie\, send me a message and I’ll send
  you a link to a copy you can watch.\n\nFor those who've already seen the 
 film\, I suggest watching again as memories are unreliable and opinions ch
 ange. Rewatching the film is not however necessary to attend the meeting o
 r comment on it below if your thoughts are clear.\n\nMeeting\n\nAs always\
 , I’ll be getting to Johnny Fox's just before 6:00pm to sort out my food a
 nd drink and welcome everyone who wishes to do the same. For those who do\
 , it's a great way to get to know other members and share what other movie
 s are being watched.\n\nAt around 6:30pm\, I'll look to give a brief intro
 duction and provide a summary of our scores from the previous week's film.
  We'll all then share our scores out of 10 for this week's film and break 
 into small groups to discuss it. Rules of conduct for these discussions ar
 e set out here. Around 8:30pm we'll rejoin to share our take aways and try
  to answer and remaining questions with the aim of being finished by 9:15p
 m.\n\nWe have the room booked till 10:00pm and the venue closes at 2:00am 
 so there'll be plenty of time to continue socialising after the event for 
 those who wish to. I usually have a sit down drink at the end and am happy
  to be joined for it. 🥃\n\nScores\n\nA summary of the group’s scores will 
 be posted in the Discussion section of the group's home page on the Monday
  after the event. Given the first thing in the summary will a comparison o
 f our score to that on IMDB\, please try to avoid seeing that score ahead 
 of landing on yours so as not to be biased.\n\nFor those able to watch the
  movie but not make the meeting\, I encourage you to do so and post your s
 core in the Comment section below before the Monday after the event. It’s 
 a great way to still share your thoughts on the movie and gain from those
