 athtaking beauty of the Lake District on an exhilarating weekend adventure
 ! Join us as we embark on a thrilling journey to conquer one of England's 
 most iconic peaks\, Helvellyn\, via the legendary Striding Edge.\n\nAs alw
 ays\, we’ll sort out the travel\, logistics and accommodation\, so just me
 et in Manchester and leave the rest to us.\n\\\nITINERARY\nPlease note tha
 t exact timings and order of activities are subject to change\, based on t
 he local conditions at the time.\n\nDay 1: Helvellyn Ascent via Striding E
 dge\n\nMeeting outside Manchester Piccadilly train station\, you will boar
 d the train for a relaxing journey to The Lake District.\nYou will be met 
 at the train station and transported into the national park before setting
  off on your trek towards Helvellyn\, one of the most majestic peaks in th
 e Lake District.\nAs you approach Striding Edge\, prepare for an adrenalin
 e-pumping experience as we traverse the exhilarating ridge\, with stunning
  panoramic views stretching as far as the eye can see.\nReach the summit o
 f Helvellyn and revel in the sense of accomplishment as you soak in the aw
 e-inspiring vistas of the surrounding mountains and lakes.\nAfter a well-d
 eserved rest and ample time for photos\, you'll descend back to the accomm
 odation\, where you can relax and unwind over a pub dinner after an unforg
 ettable day of exploration.\n\nDay 2: Optional Activities and Departure\n\
 nFor those still craving adventure\, we offer another hike over a smaller\
 , lesser known mountain offering views back to Helvellyn and across Ullswa
 ter Lake (the second longest lake in The Lake District!)\nAlternatively\, 
 you could simply chill out for the day in the village of Glenridding\, or 
 take a boat ride on the Ullswater Paddle Steamer (cost of this is not incl
 uded in the price of the trip).\nAt the end of the day you will be transpo
 rted back to the train station for a leisurely train journey back to Manch
 ester (expect to arrive at 8pm)\nBid farewell to new friends and the mesme
 rizing landscapes of the Lake District\, with memories to last a lifetime 
 and a renewed sense of wonder for the natural world.\n\n\\\nDIFFICULTY: Th
 is trip is designed to be a moderate 2-days in The Lake District. The rout
 es are straight forward but some steep uphill and downhill hiking is unavo
 idable. A reasonable level of fitness is expected\, but you don't need to 
 be a super-athlete to join this trip.\n\nSome people find the ridge on Str
 iding edge mentally challenging\, but don’t worry\, your qualified guide i
 s highly experienced enough to keep the pace slow and everyone happy\, saf
 e and motivated throughout the trip\n\nTRANSPORT: Return train journey fro
 m Manchester and short distance minibus transfers in The Lake District\n\n
 ACCOMMODATION: Campsite/Bunkhouse. We provide you with 1-person tents\, sl
