  Before)\n\n🔆 "Forever Grateful" traces the Grateful Dead's history from t
 he band's 1965 founding in Palo Alto through 1995. Known for their eclecti
 c style\, the Dead blended rock\, folk\, blues\, country and psychedelia\,
  creating a sound that became a cornerstone of the San Francisco Sound. Th
 eir music was defined by long improvisational jams and a deep connection w
 ith their fans.\n\nCurated by Ben Marks\, this Haight Street Art Center sh
 ow contains more than 400 items\, including paintings\, pen and ink drawin
 gs\, original lithographs used to create posters\, photographs\, vinyl rec
 ords\, instruments and rare memorabilia.\n\nThe exhibition features the po
 ster artists who shaped the band's visual identity\, among them San Franci
 sco's "Big Five" rock-poster designers Wes Wilson\, Stanley Mouse\, Alton 
 Kelley\, Victor Moscoso\, and Rick Griffin. The largest gallery houses a f
 ully operational replica of the Dead's famous "Wall of Sound\," built by A
 nthony Coscia\, with 500 speakers that broadcast the band's live recording
