nDMX Krew is the stage name of musician Edward Arthur David Upton. A Londo
 n based DJ\, performer\, producer\, and engineer\, who also runs the label
s Breakin’ Records and Fresh Up. Upton's other aliases include 101 Force\,
Asylum Seekers\, Bass Potato\, Chester Louis III\, Computor Rockers\, Dav
id Michael Cross\, Ed DMX\, Ed Upton\, EDMX\, House Of Brakes\, Michael Kn
ight\, Viet Cong. He has released six full albums on Aphex Twin's label Re
phlex Records and numerous singles/EPs for both Rephlex and his own label
Breakin'.\n\nDMX Krew's sound spans several electronic music genres\, most
ly being rooted in an early electro-pop / breakbeat type of music.\n\nThe
first DMX Krew release was 1995′s 'Got You On My Mind' on Dutch label DAP\
, and this was followed in 1996 by 'Sound Of The Street' on Aphex Twin’s l
abel Rephlex. This record hinted at what was to come with its mix of instr
umental electro\, synthpop and techno made exclusively on vintage equipmen
 t. Lots more releases have followed\, mainly through Rephlex but also on d
iverse labels including International Deejay Gigolos\, Power Vacuum\, Soni
c Groove and many others. DMX Krew remixes have also appeared of various a
 rtists including M.I.A.\, Man Parrish\, James T Cotton\, and many more.\n\
nIn 1997 Ed DMX started his label Breakin’ Records which gained a cult fol
lowing as one of the UK’s first electro and bass labels with many releases
from DMX Krew under various aliases\, as well as first signings Bass Junk
ie and Mandroid. Later Breakin’ broke new ground with the signing and debu
t release of acid maestro Ceephax Acid Crew.\n\nMore recent DMX Krew track
s released on Rephlex under the umbrella of 'The Collapse Of The Wave Func
tion' reveal a deeper\, more considered side to his production\, featuring
ambient and experimental tracks as well as quirkier dancefloor fillers\,
and this vibe has continued into more recent releases for other noteworthy
electronic music labels as well.\n\nHe performs rather sparsely as a DJ a
 nd live PA act.\n\n--- TICKETS\n\nPRESALE - 45 lei (9 euro)\nAT THE DOOR -
