  BLACK DEVIL DISCO CLUB (★)\nIn 1978\, French composer and synthesiser pio
 neer Bernard Fèvre quietly released Disco Club under the name Black Devil\
 , six hypnotic tracks built from analogue synthesizers\, spectral vocals a
 nd cosmic disco. Too strange and too futuristic for its era\, the record d
 isappeared almost as quickly as it arrived\, only to be rediscovered decad
 es later by collectors and DJs who couldn't believe it had truly been made
  in the seventies.\n\nIts reissue by Aphex Twin's Rephlex Records transfor
 med Black Devil Disco Club into one of electronic music's defining cult ac
